Summer Break - 12th August 2022 Update

Wiltshire Psychology Service is closed to new enquiries whilst we take a 2-week summer break.

If you have an already scheduled appointment during this period, this will go ahead as planned. Any telephone calls or messages sent to our info mailbox in the next two weeks will receive a response on, or after, Tuesday 30th August.

Waiting Lists - 12th August 2022 Update

Our waiting lists for Child and Young Adult (up to age 25) enquiries are currently open.

Our ASD / Autism Assessment waiting list will re-open on 1st September 2022 for new enquiries and referrals. ASD Assessments will then be available from January 2023.

Our Adult waiting list (age 25+) is currently closed. We will keep this under review and update this message when the list is re-opened.

The Wiltshire Psychology Service is a private and independent psychology practice comprising a team of Chartered Clinical Psychologists.. We are based in both North and West Wiltshire, and are pleased to offer services for adults, children and adolescents.

We provide psychological assessment and treatment for a variety of problems, including stress-related difficulties, depression, postnatal depression, and mood disorders. Our practice offers treatment for anxiety disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and phobias. Our psychologists provide specific therapy for low self-esteem, low confidence, and trauma.

Therapies offered include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).

We are pleased to offer services for adults, children, and adolescents. We are based in Wiltshire, with offices at both Brinkworth House and at The Glove Factory.

Brinkworth House is located in the village of Brinkworth, 6 miles from Junction 16 of the M4, between Swindon and Malmesbury.

The Glove Factory is located in the village of Holt near Bradford-on-Avon, and is just a short journey from Trowbridge, Melksham and Bath.

We are also proud to offer an Autism assessment service for children and adolescents who may have difficulties suggestive of a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Wiltshire Psychology Service welcomes referrals from health care professionals as well as self-referrals. We are recognised by all of the major health insurers.

All of our psychologists are Chartered by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
